Research interests: My research interests largely revolve around the interactions and consequences of invasive pest species in economically-important agricultural systems. This includes exploring different IPM methods, predominantly that of biological control. The scope of my current project aims to categorize the type/developmental stage of Wisconsin tart cherry Spotted Wing Drosophila (SWD, Drosophila suzukii) prefer through lab assays, as well as deliver information identifying potential suitable SWD parasitoids native to this region through field studies.

Personal Interests: I am passionate about the outdoors and outdoor activities including camping, hiking, skiing, and fishing. I also love sports and enjoy playing baseball, football, tennis, and badminton among others. I try to alleviate stress through painting and exercise.
